The Tumbo property. Where the jungle meets the ocean.

Tumbo is a luxury eco-lodge thoughtfully designed for communing with friends, family, and the natural world. Nestled in some of the jungle’s largest trees and most active animal corridors, the open-air design allows for ocean breezes and the echo of birds to flow throughout.

The Casa Grande, the Bungalow and the Creekside Cabina sleep 18 people total and are exclusively yours to enjoy.

Casa Grande was once merely a tent and a hammock and has been transformed into a magnificent 2 story open-air getaway built in perfect harmony with its surroundings. With a bar, pool, bbq area, and surround sound it is the perfect center of the Tumbo property to gather, eat, and have some fun.

The Bungalow is a serene retreat nestled in lush greenery, offering a tranquil connection to nature with just the right touch of modern simplicity. This double-bedroom bungalow features 2 king-size beds with minimalist decor that complements the natural surroundings. With its private bathroom and cozy sitting area, the space is designed for comfort and relaxation, allowing guests to unwind and immerse themselves fully in the jungle's peaceful ambiance.

The Creekside Cabina is our intimate, two-room escape that gives you a sense of oneness with the natural world. The nearby creek babbles softly in the background, lulling you into undeniable relaxation.

The Dipping Pool

Pool

The dipping pool is the perfect area to play, relax, or enjoy a nice cocktail. It’s ideal to enjoy the sunny days or for a cool dip before bed.

The Yoga Deck

Yoga, massage, and workout area

The Yoga Deck is the jewel of El Tumbo, and our personal favorite hideaway. Nicknamed the Turtle Shell Deck because of it’s sea turtle-shaped design, our yoga deck is the perfect location for morning meditations and evening sun salutations. Only 75 yards from the ocean, you can hear the waves softly crashing on the shoreline as you meditate.
